Apple Macos 10.13 Appeared For the First Time, the Code Name Is a Mystery
We shall greet macOS 10.13 in this year’s WWDC.
Although the next macOS system is expected to come until WWDC 2017, but the author of Pike’s Universum blog points out that he has found the macOS 10.13 appeared for the first time.
Specifically, the blogger found part of the App Store URL, which is also CatalogURL of macOS 10.13. This seems to be a secure HTTPS link from Apple’s servers, and of course the screenshot is likely to be fake, but this blog had provided reliable information in the past.
At present, we know very little about macOS 10.13, but starting from this year, devices running macOS 10.13 will become more and more. And this should be Apple engineers testing the operating system on the device.
Name code for macOS 10.13 is currently unknown. Apple registered a lot of names for future macOS update in 2014; these names include the famous beaches and cities of California, there are also mountains, deserts, and animals etc.
These names have been registered but not used: Redwood, Mammoth, California, Big Sur, Pacific, Diablo, Miramar, Rincon, Redtail, Condor, Grizzly, Farallon, Tiburon, Monterey, Skyline, Shasta, Mojave, Sequoia, Ventura and Sonoma. Of course, Apple may also use other names.
MacBook Users Are Too Happy! Apple MagSafe Port May Come Back
Foreign media reports, in earlier time, Apple’s MagSafe magnetic charge port had always been a highlight of the MacBook. But on the latest MacBook Apple has replaced it with insert USB – C port. However, now according to a patent document Apple exposed, MagSafe magnetic charge port may return soon.
In the patent document, Apple put forward the new idea of coming back to MagSafe port. It describes a MagSafe-to-USB – C adapter, which brings back the magnetic charge port for MacBook as an accessory. Interestingly, although Apple only used MagSafe on MacBook, but the adapter in the patent is not confined to notebook use. Lightning and micro USB port types are optional, and they can be used to charge for iPhone and iPad devices.
But what deserves mention is that, this Apple product is still in the patent level, and it is temporarily difficult to say when it will be launched. In addition, although the USB – C port is very powerful, the main reason it replaces the MagSafe magnetic charge port, most importantly, is easy to operate, and both sides are the same.
