【TechWeb Report】 In last autumn, Apple brought about a most distinctive update on the MacBook Pro— adding a displayable Touch Bar. The design enhances the sense of space for the keyboard and operation, once the users get used to it, it will improve the efficiency of daily use, but unfortunately, it seems not many consumers are accustomed.

Foreign media OS News has it that future high configuration versions of the MacBook Pro may remove Touch Bar, i.e. the Touch Bar design, and support the use of iPad Pro as a direct touch input device.

But the media does not explain why. The insiders analyze, for the fixed thinking logic and habitual way of PC operation which actually had formed, the touch bar has no good experience, and is of little value, what is more, the price is too high and the operation is too complex.

In addition, the media also says development of the new modularized Mac Pro has just started a few weeks ago. If it is no surprise, we will have to wait until next year, which also conforms to the Apple’s saying.

Abnormal Sound Similar To “Squeezing A Plastic Bottle”

Mobile.sina reports in the afternoon of April 13^th, Apple introduced new MacBook Pro series last year, and users have different reactions to its new changes. Sometime early, some users had mentioned abnormal sound of keypad, and recently some users found new problems.

Recently, some users said on Apple technical support web site and some BBSs, their MacBook Pro devices had an abnormal sound like “slowly squeezing a plastic bottle”.

The users said the abnormal sound might appear for no reason; some users said the problem happened more in the middle of running games, or rendering large tasks such as video, especially when MacBook Pro’s fan started to run.

On the other hand, some users speculated that this problem might be associated with the hinge on the MacBook Pro. When the MacBook Pro got heating, internal heat of the device might cause strength of glue or plastic to be reduced, thus the hinge lost its solidity. Considering this problem mainly appears on the 15 inch MacBook Pro, which has heavier screen panel, such speculation is justified. Here are some user’s views on the Internet:

“I think this problem is caused by the hinge, because the aluminum panel on the back of the display bends, probably the heat affected the strength of the glue or plastic support in the display component.”

“I can repeatedly reproduce the abnormal sound by pressing the bottom of the screen.”

It is said that Apple treats the problem differently. Some claim that Apple replaces the inside original component, but the problem remains; others say Apple blames the problem on a concave at the bottom of the user’s device, which is not in the scope of Apple’s warranty, some users cost $130 on maintenance.

At present, what is more reliable is that the MacBook Pro’s heat causes a dent at the bottom of the screen, so the problem should be covered by the normal warranty. But Apple doesn’t seem to find a solution to eradicate the problem at the moment.

After Microsoft released new Surface Laptop, Huawei also has updated news. According to foreign media’s report, Huawei is launching a new high-end laptop, which points straightly at its competitor-Apple MacBook.

Source says, new Huawei high-end laptop is consumer market oriented, not like last year’s MateBook whose target is businessmen and women. And it will also “fight” against Apple from the looking and performance etc.

Based on previous saying, new Huawei laptop has three styles, whose code names are from three masters of Science: Pascal, Bell, and Watt, and they are expected to be named as MateBook E/X/D series, of which MateBook E is still two-in-one, and MateBook X/D are traditional laptops. So the so-called new high-end laptop could be either one of the MateBook X/D.

In addition, analysts are generally optimistic about Huawei’s laptop buildup, and they suppose this is a very natural new move, which also will make up for the only deficiency of Huawei product line.
