Accidently deleted or erased photo that you took by digital camera is a terrible experience for us. However, this is common case happened around us with high frequency. When we travelling outside, or participate a party, we could take lots of pictures for memory. What if you delete all the photos by mistake, don't panic, under normal circumstances, the pictures that are "deleted" by camera are not fully wiped from the card, and the space occupied by those image files is just marked as available. At this time, don't do any operation on this digital camera, so that we can protect the "deleted or erased" pictures are overwritten by new files. When it happened, you'd better removing the card from the camera and not using it again until you restore deleted photos by using data recovery software.
There is common question going: "I am trying to restore lost pictures from an Olympus digital camera that uses an xd card. There was a problem when I went to load the pictures, and the camera screen said to format it. After checking the card for the pics (they weren't there) we formatted. I have used several programs to try to get the pictures, using a card reader. Are they lost forever? One site I went on said if you used an Olympus with an xd card you can't recover the pics. These are very important pics, and I need them back. Thanks for any help!"
Photo recovery is inexact science. From my words above, you would know that the photos are not lost permanently; they can be restored by recovery program. However, as newbie of technology, how to pick up easy-to-use software is another question.
There are lots of similar programs saying to get the lost data back successfully. You'd better download the trial version first to see if it the best choice for you to use. For me, I select simple interface, and few buttons on the program, such as uFlysoft Photo Recovery, with two buttons allowing me to complete the recover task perfectly. See the steps below.
1. Download and launch lost photo recovery program.
2. Connect Olympus digital camera to your computer. Click the camera partition on the program to scan the deleted photos completely.
3. When finishing scanning task, you will see almost all the pictures that you deleted displayed on the program. Here, "Preview" button can make you preview the pictures clearly and conveniently. When you decide to recover these files, all you need to do is to click "Recovery" button to complete the task.
